Well I did it...

I signed up for the Vancouver half marathon... 12 weeks from now. I have to do something and get training on the go here. I have not been very active so my weightloss has been food based only. I am hoping adding the exercise in will push it along a little faster. I didn't stitch yesterday I had migraine-- not much fun but maybe I will get a little done today:0) I am working late so we shall see. Until then my friends

What a great day...

I was very fortunate today as most of the Angels came for lunch and an afternoon of stitching at my house. It was lovely to have them all here. They are a talented groups of ladies. I continue to make slow progress on my Halloween apron but there is progress :)

Well... I have discovered I am a sad sad blogger but I shall keep trying--- I believe I said that yesterday LOL. I have been sick for the past few days so I have not done very much of anything. I am reread Nora Robert's "Night Tales" series and sleeping. I hope to get some stitching in later today/

What I am working on...

Well it's now Feb and I am not a very good blogger. Oh well I will keep trying. I am currently stitching CEC Halloween apron and it is coming along slowly but surely. I have started rereadinga couple of Nora roberts books as well so I am not getting very far. I will post a picture later. I am off to go for a walk with my friend D this am and maybe get some stitching done this afternoon :)

I realize I have not posted the stockings and uuuugggghhh I am all out of time as I am back to work. I have a super busy week ahead of me and don't expect toget much stitching done... I hope to post some pics soon

The Stocking all were finished for Christmas

Hello to All,

I have been very bad and not posted anything since September - my NYR is to be 140 pounds by the time I am forty and to blog at least three times per week. I will hopefully today post some stitching pics as all of the stocking were complete by Christmas and that was a huge accomplishment. I put my stitching down for a few days and really did not feel complete so I pick out an ornament kit from my LARGE stash and managed to complete that this week.

On the reno front we have floors in our main bathroom and kitchen WAHOO ! We are still living out of boxes and constantly looking for things but it is all good as it feels like home. LOVELY. I will be back later with somepictures of stitching.

Ok I realize it is now late September...

Here we are in September and I am just getting my blog up and going. Wow! Scary! I have an excuse as we are in the tail end of our massive renovation and it has been a lot of work. We added 14 feet to our basic BC box and that has made a HUGE difference to our space. We moved back in Sept 3 and our living out of boxes but they are our boxes.
Enough about that... This blog is about my stitching ( or lack of ) I am currently working on completing 4 SB stockings. After these 4 I'm done for a while. I say that each year and seem to stitch one for someone. I also am working on some small Halloween type things for the house. I am sure I have not mentioned my HUGE LOVE for Halloween. All thing Fall and Halloween actually. As soon as I can figure out how I will post some pictures !
