Yay! It's Friday Friday gotta get down on Friday!

I have not been stitching as work has taken over a bit... I am off for four whole days! YAY! YIPEE! I am very glad to be away from work. It's a great job but everyone needs a break sometimes...

Ben has decided to stay in bed as it's too early to make  any sudden moves
It's performance day for Emma so we will be off a KAS this afternoon. Ben has informed me that we need to go grocery shopping as he will need certain foods for when the girls and I head to Spokane. Not too much planned for the other 22 hours in this day.

I will run at some point today- I bought a ipod nano (on sale of course) for training. I am loving the clip feature.

It looks like Ben isn't moving.

Here is the latest progress on the French Country Star--- it's coming along...

I am looking forward to Spokane and it's crafty needlework type places. I am also looking forward to spending time with my ladies and Mom.

Until next time...

So the training has begun in earnest and...

It's not half bad. I really do like running. There are people who hate it but I'm not one of them. I actually enjoy it once I get going. I just should really never stop as it is really hard to get going if you even leave it a week. I will get the stamina back, it's just going time ...

Tomorrow is my last day at work for four days yay! The store is crazy busy and I am looking forward to heading to Spokane :)

Until next time...

Hotels are booked ... !

The girls, my Mom and I are heading to Spokane on Saturday. Yay! There is a completely excellent needlework store http://www.haberdasherydesigns.com/  Haberdashery Needlework Shop. I am making my list already:) - This is an annual trip that is going on three years. The girls are very patient with the needlework shop as it equates to them shop shop shopping.  Maggie didn't come with us last year so she will be making up for lost time.

Emma has been in an acting camp this past week and next. They are doing a Broadway musical review. I dropped in early for pick up and it sounds fabulous! The performance is Friday. She has come down with a rotten cold... stunning isn't she :)
Here's the latest ornament  - it's the French Country Star from the 2010 JCS Ornament Issue. I have done this one before and gave it away. I may keep this one. I will see how it turns out.

My half and full marathon training started this week and I am liking it so far. Of course it has finally gotten hot here so it won't be as pleasant to train in the heat but I will make it thru lol.

Not much else to report...

Until next time...

Long time no post...

It's been a long time in posting and I am sorry for that. When I think back to the past six months I am glad to be moving forward.

My Uncle died early Friday morning. He was 85. He was a funny and clever man who I will miss, I have great memories of him.

Onward!

On the health front I am good. I had a series of migraines last week and very happy to report they were due to weather and nothing else. I am starting my half and full marathon training this week! SO excited to start running again. I am going slow and steady. Only I would look forward to the actual training.

On the stitching front... I have finished a few things. This is the latest ornament. I worked on it during Ben's martial arts class. It was a quick stitch and I can not tell you the fabric or the thread as I just grabbed it out of my stash.

This moose is a freebie pattern my Mom found on the web. It is my at work project. It took me quite a while as I worked on it done my breaks at work. I don't usually take my break they are kind of an off floor work time... but this does actually show that I have been taking some time for myself at work.

It's kind of a sad representation of what I have been working on lately but it is better than nothing. Emma and I drove to Bellingham on Friday for a quick overnight trip. We didn't spend a whole lot of money but did a lot of looking. We did go to Jo Ann's Fabric and Crafts. I got some fabulous fabric for Halloween. I could have all the choices but narrowed it down to three. I have no idea what I will use them  for but they are just very cool.

That's all for today. I can't promise my next update will be but I can say there will be one:) I am cleaning out my closet and drawers toady. Phil is doing a small job and then we are both going for a run.

Until next time...

Sunday... YAY!

Today is full of stitching, cooking and resting. I have a project that needs completing and  turkey to cook. It will be a fun day. I want Phil to hang the clothes line in the back garden so I can get some laundry done. I will post later to show the progress on everything. YAY!

Until next time...

One day at a time ,one week at a time...

I had hoped to post mid week but really didn't have any stitching to show and hoped I would get a little done this weekend. I managed to so read on...

First it's brag about the kids time...

Emma had her recital this week ( hockey Wednesday ) and she was just excellent. She loves musical theatre and her pieces sung at the recital reflected that. She wasn't crazy about the camera so this shot reflects that.

Ben has start Tae Kwon Do. He started the 15th of May. We thought it would be great exercise... He is doing really well. At Monday's lesson the instructor mentioned the house tournament , Phil came home and asked me if Ben was entering. I said no he's only been in this for a month why would we do that to him... At Wednesday's lesson I spoke with the instructor and he thought it would great for him to participate and see what a tournament was like... Fast forward to Sat am and juggling work , soccer and wee relapse of illness. Phil dropped Ben and I relieved him just before Ben was up to do compete. Ben stands when called introduces himself and begins... he does not go through to the gold round. He is called to complete for third. I am so proud as he is so strong and confident. The kids wins bronze. Ten kids in his age group and he is a month in and wins BRONZE!!!  I was teary and so very proud! CRAZY!

Ok on the stitching front...

Here is the latest pics...

This is my latest ornament. I am working on this at Ben's Tae Kwon Do. It's almost done.

This is an exchange project I am working on.

Phil has had an excellent father's day and Maggie is super stoked about school almost being finished. All in all life is getting back to normal.

Until next time

Bad blogger!

For those wonderful stitchers and family who read this blog I am very sorry for the lack of blog posts. I have thrown myself back into work and have not stitched a whole lot nor have I done much else. Not anything much worth blogging about.

On the health front I have been feeling a bit stronger everyday. YAY! I am still suffering shoulder pain when I over do it but slowly things are getting better. I am grateful.

We have been working on the yard today and Phil will be pleased as he has ACHIEVED something today. - Sorry family joke... We planted tomatoes and pumpkins along with Ben's Lilac tree. We also got some rock for the rock garden and have got most of spread. This would explain the sore shoulder and fatigue now.

The kids are good. Emma is on her final week of Into the Woods next week. YAY! It's been more work this time as she is crew and not cast = not as much fun for her or us. Ben is enjoying martial arts a lot. Maggie is off to a movie tonight with a "friend". Time just continues to march on. Em and Mags have a week left of school and Ben two. Where did this year go?

I have a busy week planned involving a concert , a play and work. I am hoping to start SLOWLY running as well so let see how that goes.

Until next time...

Blog worthy...

I am fortunate to have two very awesome siblings. I have a twin sister and a big brother. We were all able to get together Sunday for my nephew's birthday and had a really nice time. That is not the purpose of this post. The real reason is what my brother and sister in law have in their basement... I have been trying to figure out how to post these for a bit (no comment Bri as it was way to easy...) Yes ICE COLD BEER on tap. It's very tasty too.

Definitely blog worthy - better way late than never.

It was a great day that again was hosted by BJSCA and Z, thanks to you all!

Until next time...

Blah

That's how I have been feeling today. I really shouldn't be but I am. There is absolutely no reason to feel BLAH. Here's what's been happening at chez Butler

Emma- call backs were a success and those of you who are  KAS fans you will see her as Duffy in Annie and the chorus of Evita. Yipee! That is a relief.

Ben- started martial arts two weeks ago and is progressing nicely. He gets a yellow stripe on Wednesday :)

Maggie - got the 3rd highest mark in her math class ! Wow! Way to go Mags. She also is cruising along at work so life is pretty good.

Phil - has been working on our master bath (yay!) and bidding work like crazy

Me - I have been cleared to go back to work May 30th. I am excited! I am just happy to be going back. I am hoping I will be able to keep up the pace and stay at work.

I haven't been stitching a whole lot as the mojo just hasn't been there... here are the progress pics

The left is a snowman ornament I am working on and of course Halloween Rules.

I also have been slowly working on a stocking but no progress picture for that yet...

Until next time...

Sunday

It's been a busy weekend. Emma had her call backs and doesn't believe she did well. We won't know until Friday so it's wait, wait, wait.

I am on rest for the next week as my stomach is just not getting better. It is frustrating but also a great stitching opportunity so I can't complain too much.

This is Apple Quaker Style. It's for Ben's teacher. I am planning to work on Halloween Rules for the day while Emma and I watch Netficks.
First we are off to grocery store to get groceries for dinner tonight and the week.

Until next time...

Something is up with Blogger

I am not sure what is up with Blogger but I lost most of my last post??? Oh well. Here's the update. I am back in my bed for the next week - not sure what's what but I am following dr's  orders. Phil,Mags and Ben  are of to a movie and Em and I will find something on Shaw. It will be a quiet night.
I am almost finished Apple Quaker style and I hope to work on it tonight.

Not much to report.

Until next time...

It's Ben's birthday and he's 10!!!

I am in love! He is just so cute! He is 10 today. When I asked him what he was having for dinner at Joey's tonight he said "chicken lettuce wraps and a bite of everyone else's " That's a great plan smart man!

I am off to the doctor again today. I am on heavy duty pain meds and really just want to know what is wrong with me. Hopefully some answers will come today.

On to stitching. All the stash I ordered well I was home sick has arrived. I am excited and a littler concerned about my grandeous plans for stockings etc... Oh well. The one who dies with the most stash wins! On to the pics

I finished "He's a Flake" on the weekend. I used black beads for his eyes as I am not a fan of the "F" knot. I think that is 4 ornaments done! WOOT!

Today is my birthday...

I always find my birthday a bit of a let down - not sure why. I was suppose to work today but instead spent the first part in bed, the next at the doctor and lab and followed up with work where I was totally useless because of the pain I was in. I am having pain in my left side and shoulder. It's kind of a mystery and hopefully tomorrow I will have some answers.

I got some stash in the mail that I purchased as a birthday present to me (any excuse will do) I will post a picture tomorrow I promise. SO EXCITED! I have been working on PS' Sweeping Cobwebs but am getting a little bored of dmc's 3371 so I may have to start something new (again any excuse) Sleep is in order right now.

Until next time...

A little finish...

I finished this yesterday - I am not sure what I will make out  of it... The fabric is much brighter than it looks and I used leftover black crow from my LK exchange. I am itching to start something new but really should work on some WIP.  I am home from work today as I am super tired. I have a lot of paperwork I can here so I am going to work on that as well. It's time for more gravol and boost to make sure I sleep and eat ( if I am honest with myself I believe it's the eating or lack of that is slowing me down) Today is operation sleep and eat with a little stitching thrown in.

Until next time...

Week 2 Again we are AWESOME-

Sue is more awesome than I as she did 11 run 1minute walk 1 minute. I only got through 8 and then pooped out. I am seriously sucking at the stamina department. I am getting better...

On the stitching front. I have not done a whole lot. This working thing sucks a little as I am not stitching nearly as much. Oh well hhhmmm....

Until next time...

Week 1 of "For Women Only Running Clinic"

Sue and I signed up and we did our first night of the clinic tonight. WE DID IT! I will admit that by the 4th run 1 minute I was ready to upchuck. We did do it though and we are awesome.--- Not dying makes us awesome!

I went back to work today and it was weird but good. I am getting back into the swing of things. I was pretty tuckered out by the time I got home. Surprisingly now I am energized. I am sure it will be short lived. I am losing steam by each letter I type.

I finished my LK exchange project but will not post pictures until it gets to my exchange partner. I also worked a little on Three Pale Eggs by SB. It is coming along. I didn't get any stitching done today as I was a little busy. Hopefully tomorrow.

Until next time...

The Thief

Here he is... so cute! I didn't get any work done on Halloween Rules as I took the kids to the mall.  Yes the mall... I did purchase season five of Bones as well so  should  not complain.

Until next time...

Sadly no stitching pictures just an update...

SO here it is Good Friday- I usually work this day so again weird being at home. I must confess I am a lousy stay home mom as I COMPLETELY FORGOT Ben's tutoring appointment yesterday. My excuse is  only that it felt like Friday because the kids were so excited about the weekend... I also had spent the day sorting out our hot water issue only to discover ( after the city was out here and our plumber) that it is all to do with the solar hot water system that hasn't worked properly since installed two years ago. Hopefully today it will be sorted out.

Mags works tonight and Emma's really good friend has a soccer game 6:45pm and another at 2:45pm tomorrow so we may venture out to watch one at some point. It's a beautiful day here and hopefully we will feel it warm up. I want to get out in the garden and start to organize the garden plot. There are pumpkins to plant!

I leave you a picture of Ben with his dogs when he announced to me"I just want to stay like this all day"

Until next time...

Snowman update

He's finished! What a quick stitch! That is two ornies done which is not one a month but much better than where I was at last year which was zilch.
I started The Thief tonight and it is going along quite nicely. Tomorrow is laundry, Harry Potter and Halloween Rules. I have to wash my work clothes for Monday. I will try and post some pictures of my progress later this weekend.

Until next time...

Stitching post...

This is my snowman ornament- it's almost finished
Progress on PS' Sweeping Cobwebs
This was the Maui plane project-there is a little more  done here
These are the latest pictures of my stitching over the past week. I am happy to have progress but not crazy about how long it has taken to recover from this gallbladder thing. I am back to work Monday 6:00am :) It's been almost a month since I have been at work CRAZY! Life will get nuts again very shortly. Emma has auditions the weekend of the 6th for KAS' upcoming season. She is auditioning for Annie and Evita. Maggie has a new boss at the theatre. This is making her nervous, ahhh the life of a 15 year old. Ben has begun soccer and Phil is the coach again this year. I am thinking about a learn to run clinic at the Running Room. I think it will help me ease back into running and HOPEFULLY my friend Sue might join me. If not I may do it anyway.  That's the update for today :)

Until next time...

pictures are coming...

I am officially on the mend and have the go ahead to be back at work Monday the 25th. YAY! I am not bored yet but really want to head back. I am building up my food intake and yesterday I managed to do some laundry. The kids and I watched Harry Potter 7 and it was just amazing! I managed some stitching and as soon as I find my camera I will post some pictures.

Today I must do the finishing on the LK exchange to send off this week. I am off to Michaels (hopefully my mom will want to venture out with me) to get some ideas or fabric ??? I then will be driving to various after school activities and tutors. Phil is working in Vernon and hopes to be home for dinner. HMMMM dinner that is another issue what to make? Oh well I guess I will stop at Safeway on my travels today... There also is the issue of Easter dinner... that's not for a few days right? I am getting ahead of myself.

Until next time...

Sunday Update :)

I had an awesome day yesterday! It was tiring but so great. All my Angel friends but one ( Pam is travelling across the country in her RV with her fabulous husband Roger to teach at seminar this May.) came over for a day of stitching. This weekend was originally suppose to be a sleepover here and a weekend of stitching but under the gall bladder circumstances I could only handled the day. We had muffins and coffee then appies out on the island for the the rest of the day. It was just a fabulous mental health break. I did crawl right into bed after everyone left and fell straight asleep. Great day... :)

Here's what's on for today... Phil bought me years 1-7 of Potter to watch over the next week. Em, Ben and have just started year 1. They are all so young...  I plan to work on PS' Sweeping Cobwebs while we watch. Here's the progress so far- It's coming along.

Yesterday I worked on Halloween Rules. It is so clever. I am having a lot of fun stitching it. I am looking forward to moving on to the individual designs, I just have the N to finish and I can get on with it. This last picture is of the beautiful plant and tulips brought to me yesterday. Lovely aren't they?

So that is for today. I am taking Mags to work in a bit. First time out driving but I am determined to try. I've got to get at it here. My goal for the next week is to eat, gain strength and be ready to be back to for Easter Monday. Slowly but surely I am getting better :) Yipee!

Until next time...

Update...

Here it is Thursday and I am slowly mending. Who knew it would take this long... I am a wretched patient. My mom has been amazing  to and froing the kids around. It's just not my style to hang out in bed - I only like it when it's my choice. Whine, whine, whine!
Here's a shot of Em's chicken pot pie- yummy she did a great job!

This is the project I was working on during the plane ride to Maui. I had so much fun with the speciality stitches. I hope to work on it when the Angel ladies come over on Saturday. I finished my Lizzie Kate project I just have to figure out how to "finish"it. I have been working on "Sweeping Cobwebs" from Prairie Schooler. It is coming along nicely.  I leave this post with a picture of Ben in Maui ... makes me smile...

Until next time...

7 days of this may send me...

Today begins my first day of "rest" and I may go stir crazy... I love to hang out in my pit, watching movies and stitching - when it is my idea... when it's not I don't like it. I keep saying I won't get this type of rest again... it's not working. I spent today sleeping and watching t.v. I am hoping to stitch tomorrow.

Emma made an amazing dinner for her dad. Chicken pot pie with bacon and cheddar mash potatoes. We are just waiting for Phil to get home so she can present it to him. Very proud of her. Maggie is working a split today and Ben is out an about with his buddies. It's been a pretty good day all in all except for my lying around doing nothing... Sorry -tomorrow will be better

home from the hospital

The gall bladder is out. I had to go back Wednesday night as I couldn't control the pain. I was admitted and they took it out Friday at 4pm. I came home today at 11am and am now thinking about sleep.

I have the next week off so I am hoping to catch up on sleep and stitching. I worked a little on my Lizzie Kate exchange today and that was rewarding. I am twitchy so I will cut this short.

Until next time...

update... I have issues...

Good Morning,

I have been in the hospital the past couple of days with what I thought was a horrible flu bug. Not the case as it turns out I have a gallbladder problem that has to come out. I haven't stitched but am going to work on my Lizzie Kate exchange a little later. I am trying to get back into the swing of things but I really just want to sleep.

Until next time...

Home again,home again...

We made it home around 2:45pm and are glad the journey is over. I would love to still be in Maui but reality is knocking and I am almost ready to face it. I haven't been feeling swell since last night. Not quite sure what's what. I will keep you posted. Mags is still hacking up a lung and thinks her ribs are bruised so it's  just as well we are home.

Short post - once I get my head above water I promise there will be more

Landed!

Yay! We made it- We didn't have any trouble at the border with the Englishman and we are safe and all tucked in at the condo in Maui. The flight was decent and Costco was well Costco- we stocked up and are all set. The ocean is our backyard so the kids were soaked after going down to "check it out".Phil and I headed to the local ABC store and Safeway(to buy other provisions that weren't sized for 85 people). We had a cold plate dinner and TRIED to stay up past 8:00pm - The kids did better than the two of us. I am wake of course and have been since 4:00am - this is actually 7:00am our time which is very good for me as I usually wake at the crack to go to work. I have taken half a tylenol pm and waiting for it to kick in. No one here is stirring so that is good.

The plan is to go into Kiehi today - head to Charlie Young beach and try and meet up with a friend of Emma's. We will see from there what happens.

On the stitching front I worked on one of my crazy January projects on the plane. The dresser and as soon as I can find the camera cord in my bag I will post the picture. There was a really "interested" guy sitting across from me on the plane who was fascinated by what I was doing. Kind of creepy - especially when Phil noticed... the kids too... lol. Phil was a little disturbed as my reply to this was maybe he waned to learn how and his response was NO ONE is that interested and his wife was sitting right beside him... lol. I managed to get one drawer done and the framework for two more. I am worried I will run out of thread but I do have another project if that happens.

That's all for now. I am going to turn the TV on low and pray for sleep for the next couple of hours. If that doesn't work then it's sleeping on the beach for me.

Until next time...

It's almost here... MAUI

The worst thing about going on a trip is packing for one. I know,I know- stop complaining... I just am at the too tired point to care... I am just bringing a dress, flip flops, two bathing suits and my running gear. Some shorts too. I have limited Phil's wardrobe and Bennie has his 7 shorts, shirts and pairs of boxers. Emma and Mags are sharing a bag and I have thinned Emma's choices down lol. I figured she didn't need several pairs of jean shorts.

On the stitching front I am trying to decide what to  take for the plane and down time... Hmm... I will keep you posted...

Until next time...

Today was so much better as district meetings go...

I am not fired which I think is an amazing feat as of late. Work is just crazy and district meetings tend to be a cr&p fest... only because I am bogged down and overloaded- this calls for a lot of WTF (fudge I mean) and could they possibly ask anymore of us... I am truly blessed to be employed and I LOVE MY JOB AND THE COMPANY I WORK FOR. I just get a wee bit overloaded and tend be vocal about it... hence said firing. I was good today and all is well. I am relieved - it would be sucky if I headed to Maui after being fired.

We are off to Maui on Tuesday! I have audio books on the i pod, laundry in the washer and dryer - I am getting in border collie time and planning what stitching to take. I am ALMOST believing we are going! I am getting excited :)

I worked a little on Halloween Rules yesterday and I have started my Lizzie Kate exchange project. The later will be coming with me and I am not sure what else yet...

I'm going to buy Ray Bans in Maui - why? I have always wanted a pair and I'm forty- enough said...

This is a random rambling but I kinda like it... and Jackie will be slightly curbed by the posting lol...

Until next time...

One more week and then Maui!

Yay! One more week and then we are off to Maui! There is a ton to do but it will be worth it in the end! I managed to stitch one letter and half a heart yesterday... SAD but true. I did go shopping with Em,my sister and my Mom - good exchange I thought.

I am up so early today and not sure why? The time change doesn't usually mess with me but I guess this year it is. I think I am getting a cold and maybe that's why. I am off to shower and start my day. Hope yours is a good one.

Until next time,

Sunday...

I don't have any pictures today because I have not done any stitching at all this week. I am currently on the last of two whole days off! Yipee! The really sad part is I don't know where yesterday went and with springing forward today I feel like I have already wasted the morning. --- I am taking Mags to work and then I plan stitch a little - let's see if that happens...

Until next time...

Finally a stitching post!

So much has gone on this week that I do not know where the time has gone... I have pictures to upload so here we go. I purchased some charts from 123 and they arrived this week.

Here is the progress on Halloween Rules...This is so much fun to stitch! I love the charts that arrived but have promised myself I MUST catch up to the next auto on HR

I am pleases with how Pumpkin Hill is coming --- awesome! Here also is Noel complete except for the beads...

Here are the snowmen from AuryTM so cute I am going to stitch them all in a row and have my friend Lesia frame them. Again I must catch up on the HR autos first:)

On a non stitching note I saw the KAS production of Lion King and it was just amazing. Some seriously talented kids there. VERY COOL. Emma has such light with she's up there it's awesome to see.  The diva in her can still be a pain in the a$$ but it's nice to see. :) I have a busy day ahead with car purchasing, store meetings and picking up of Lion King peeps... TOMORROW IS MY ONE DAY OFF AND I PLAN TO COMPLETELY ENJOY IT.

Until next time....

Really quick..

Today is a wee bit crazy ... I have to open the store and then  I have all of my management team for a meeting at 2:45pm . I have stitching pictures I just haven't had a minute to upload them. :(

I am sitting in the dark with my cup of tea, two black and whites and my computer. It's lovely and quiet except for the odd growl when one gets to close to the other. It's warm and cozy - too bad it has to end...

Until next time...

I really want this month over...

Brighton finished last night and we are grateful for the opportunity Emma was given but glad to have a wee bit of a break. She has Lion King this weekend and then a bit of a break over spring break. She trys out for the Glee Troupe March 18 and then it begins again...

I have mentioned before my slight crush on Colin Firth - LOVE HIM... The King's Speech is an excellent movie and Colin Firth is amazing! I am so glad he won! Anne Hathaway was an excellent host except for all the wooing... every time she introduced someone she woooooooooo - drove me nuts.

It's a crazy week so I imagine I won't get much stitching done. I do have pictures I just need to upload them.

Until next time...

We saw Brighton Beach last night and he was good for the most part but the Man Cold was starting to take over...

I have stitching pictures to post and will do so later enjoy the Man Cold

All the best blogs have pictures... and I don't have any today again...

So the lousy blogger that I am means not only have I not posted in a bit (which my beautiful sister in law mentioned in an email to me yesterday) I also don't have any pictures for you. That is mostly due to me not doing much stitching and WAY TOO MUCH WORKING! Things are a tad crazy at work and I am not getting much stitching in on my breaks as I am working through them instead... not good.We are getting ready for the 40th Anniversary of Starbucks as well and some other really great things and there has not been much time for me. Today was my day off and I spent some of it at work and the rest getting Emma to the drs then for blood work and a script. She is hopefully on the mend. She has had nose bleeds and a sore throat the past couple of weeks. It's been tough on her. We did  manage to head to the mall where some purchases were made (don't tell Phil) and we had lunch.

On the stitching front I have finished Noel except for some beads (which I picked up today) and will hopefully put on at Angel Night tomorrow. I started Halloween Rules (not very far on it though) I have just lost the stitching mojo.. I am listening to a really excellent book on my ipod- "A Discovery of Witches" by Deborah Harkness--- so good and I have to say it would be excellent to stitch along to I just have to get to the stitching part.

Well off I go to try and to stitch...

Until next time...

Not at all a good day to be sick...

It's Friday 3am and not at all a good day to be sick... I had a migraine last night and now that has urned into a headache type flu stomach thing- I have a full day planned with work and other things... I am not at all sure how I will do it but I will find a way.... Unfortunately I really don't have a whole lot to report...

Until next time...

Oh what a day:)

I was at a district meeting today... it was a good meeting but what I came home to was even better...  I got a package from ABC Stitch. I received the fabric, the first three charts and threads for Lizzie Kate's "Halloween Rules"- I am on this automatic (YAY) and also received a copy of the border:) Oh life is good! The order also contained "Too Hot" from AuryTM and "Pumpkin farm" from Blackbird---- SO GREAT !!! I order some Q Snaps because you can never have enough Q Snaps ( one always is looking for the next set to start the next some to be UFO) Besides I needed a new set for "Halloween Rules" RIGHT??? !!!

Oh stitching happiness!

Until next time...

A very full Tuesday and it's only 3:10pm...

As per usual the Butler household is busy... very busy . It's been an excellent day off so far. I worked out and met my Mom at a great little shoe store in Rutland "Hollywood Shoes" where I got some new work shoes - dansko super comfy and will work for the next season.

We then went to Value Village - wanted one of those frogs for my scissors - they had this a great Ikea flower pot to stack it on.

I couldn't pass on these super cute candle holders--- Halloween is my favourite--- I believe that I have mentioned that before tee hee

This little bag of Mill Hill beads and threads was cheap and I figured someone would use them...

I thought the sugar of this set would be a great orts bowl but couldn't leave the creamer.
We then went to sushi with my brother and sister in law it was excellent company and sushi

This is the latest purse project, am going to do it all in CC spinach and beads.

Ok minor blop on Happy Bunny Bunny Day but it's finished! Yipee!

This is my progress on Pumpkin Hill - I love it and am slowly stitching here as I don't want it to end... Crazy but true :)

I'm just home now from the mad set of errands I had to run. Now on to making dinner and maybe a glass of wine.

Until next time...
